A deed recorded March 9 shows the buyer who paid $28 million for 480 S. Ocean Blvd. is a New York-registered limited liability company with the same mailing address as the Peter R. & Cynthia K. Kellogg Foundation in New York City. The foundation is the charitable arm of the family of Peter Kellogg, a billionaire who made his fortune on Wall Street and in the reinsurance industry.
Cynthia Kellogg is listed in property records as one of the two owners of a house at 17 Middle Road, immediately west of the one that just changed hands. She co-owns the Middle Road house with her daughter, Lee Kellogg Sadrian, property records show.
