The City of Canyon commissioners recently took a look at Phase 5 of the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Plan, designed to improve roadway safety and reduce the number of crashes.
The plan is set to serve as a strategic roadmap to address priority safety concerns and create a safer, more accessible transportation network for all users, whether walking, biking, or driving, according to information provided at the meeting Tuesday, March 3.
The Canyon commission committed to Vision Zero in December 2023, to eliminate traffic deaths and serious injuries by 2035.
