OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Oklahoma City is just two years away from the LA 2028 summer Olympic Games. However, while the city has two Olympic venues set with Riversport and Devon Park, there’s also a need for the logistics side of things, like building an Olympic village and adding seating for spectators.
“We’ll never top the Olympics as far as a special event goes. But what I think the legacy will ultimately be is getting that attention that will kind of help take our city to yet another level,” said Oklahoma City Mayor David Holt back in December.
