LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A man accused of at least two armed carjackings faces a murder charge after police said he shot a man in the face, killing him, according to documents 8 News Now obtained.
Rafael Solano, 34, faces charges including open murder and robbery with a deadly weapon for a string of incidents dating back to late February, records said. Solano’s arrest was first publicly reported by 8 News Now on Tuesday.
On Monday, Feb. 23, Metro police responded to a report of an armed carjacking at Buckskin Park near Cheyenne Avenue and Tenaya Way in the northwest valley.
