VIRGINIA — The George Washington Memorial Parkway was closed Thursday morning after a fatal crash in Arlington.
Authorities said the crash occurred shortly after 7:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes near Chain Bridge. Initial reports indicate that one driver died in the incident.
As a result of the crash, southbound traffic is being diverted onto Route 123 in McLean, while northbound traffic is being diverted onto Spout Run Parkway in Arlington…
