EDINBURG TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WJW) — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on I-76 where troopers report a pick-up truck struck a disabled semi-truck, which was parked on the right shoulder of the interstate.
According to a media release, the fatal crash in Portage County took place shortly before 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11 in Edinburg Township. According to the release, the 67-year-old driver of the semi was inside the sleeper cab when the semi was hit by a 2024 Ram 3500, pulling a 2024 Kaufman Trailer.

Troopers said the driver of the semi suffered minor injuries and the driver of the pick-up truck, a 39-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
