BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — Four people holding on to a capsized boat were rescued from Isabella Lake on Wednesday, the sheriff’s office said.
A spokesperson from the Kern County Sheriff’s Office said rescuers got a distress call for a vessel that was sinking in the lake at around 6:22 p.m.

Search and rescue crews including a helicopter were sent to the area for a rescue. Four people were located and pulled out of the water.
Lt. Jesse Harker said the boat and the four people hanging on to it drifted northward in the water because of gusty winds. Rescuers eventually reached them and put them on a boat. At least one person suffered an injury to their lower body…
