ALABASTER – James R. McCarter, age 44 of Alabaster, has been identified as the man who was shot by police during an incident off Simmsville Road on Tuesday, March 10.
On March 10, at approximately 12:40 p.m., members of the Alabaster Police Department attempted to serve warrants at a residence off of Simmsville Road.
