A 19-year-old Clearwater woman is behind bars after an alleged street race on Jan. 7 left three people hospitalized, including one with a traumatic brain injury. The crash happened around 7:16 a.m. on Seminole Boulevard and involved a Chevy Tahoe and a Mazda SUV, which investigators say was left with catastrophic damage. The woman is being held without bond as court filings move forward.
