From thunder to flakes!

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) -After a period of storms early Wednesday and again in the afternoon, the cold front will finally push east of the Tri-State Wednesday night. Gusty winds will ease and much cooler air will flow in from the northwest. Skies will clear overnight and temps will plunge into the lower 30s on Thursday morning.

Thursday and Friday will be partly to mostly sunny but cooler with highs in the low 50s on Thursday and lower 60s on Friday. Normal temps range around 55 for highs and 35 for lows.

The weekend will bring warmer temps and storm chances on Sunday as another potent cold front drops in from the north. Partly sunny on Saturday with a high of 61. It will be windy and warmer on Sunday with highs in the lower 70s ahead of the cold front. Showers and thunderstorms will arrive by Sunday afternoon. Rain may change over to or mix with light snow showers by early Monday as temps drop below freezing…
