GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – A man is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Alachua County early Thursday morning.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say a 43-year-old woman from Trenton was traveling eastbound on County Road 232 east of Northwest 97th Boulevard just before 1:30 a.m. when she hit a man that was walking in the roadway.
The man died at the scene, and troopers say the identity of the man is unknown at this time…
