On March 2, 2026, Assistant District Attorney Christopher V. Boiano and Sergeant Thomas Holman with the Hendersonville Police Department secured felony convictions in Sumner County Criminal Court against Chase Brodie Brown.
Sumner County Circuit Court Judge Jennifer S. Nichols sentenced Brown, 26, of Hendersonville, to 15 years to serve in the Tennessee Department of Correction. Brown pled guilty to criminal simulation over $60,000, theft of property over $10,000, criminal simulation over $250,000 and money laundering.
Prior to the present charges, Brown was already well known to federal authorities for orchestrating elaborate fraud schemes. In 2021, at the age of 22, Brown pled guilty to federal fraud charges in Illinois. At the time he incurred the new criminal charges in Sumner County, he was on supervised release from the Federal Bureau of Prisons. As he has an unfinished federal sentence waiting for him, the 15-year sentence from Sumner County will run consecutively to Brown’s federal time…
