MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH is now in effect through 5:00 PM for all of the Grand Strand and Pee Dee.

A cold front moving into the region is interacting with unseasonably warm temperatures to create an unstable environment. Just enough wind shear is present for a few of the storms to possibly produce isolated strong wind gusts.

Severe Thunderstorm Watch (Be Prepared)
