Central Coast California Weather Alert: 95°F Heat Hits Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Areas From 10 AM Thursday to Friday Night

Santa Barbara, California – A surge of unseasonably hot temperatures is expected to grip California’s Central Coast starting late Thursday morning, pushing some inland areas close to 95 degrees and increasing the risk of heat-related illness through Friday evening.

According to the National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard, a Heat Advisory remains in effect from 10 a.m. Thursday until 8 p.m. Friday for large portions of San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties. Coastal communities such as Pismo Beach, Morro Bay, and Santa Barbara could climb into the mid-80s, while inland valleys including Santa Maria, Solvang, and Los Olivos may approach the mid-90s during the afternoon hours…
