TOWN OF CLAY, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — New York State Fire Officials are concerned about a growing shortage of volunteer firefighters, the backbone of volunteer departments.
As their numbers have steadily declined here in Central New York, the largest volunteer department in Onondaga County, Moyers Corners, is feeling the strain.
