FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (7News) — A driver is dead after a tree fell and hit their vehicle on George Washington Memorial Parkway on Thursday morning, according to U.S. Park Police.
The tree fell on the vehicle while it was in motion in the southbound lane near Donaldson Run. No other vehicles were involved, and there was only one person in the car that was smashed by the tree.
