HORRY COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – Horry County Fire Rescue just rolled out brand new lifesaving equipment.
HCFR added five LIFEPAK 35 cardiac monitors to its fleet, devices capable of reading heart conditions and delivering electric shocks to patients.
The new device also has more electrode stickers paramedics can attach to patients, giving them a better view of what’s going on with their heart.
Paramedics already use an older version of the LIFEPAK, where they have to print their findings, but now the new equipment makes it all digital…
