Two recent child deaths have shaken the Baton Rouge community as Crime Stoppers urges residents to help stop violence and assist ongoing investigations.
Officials say an 8-year-old child was struck by gunfire while playing in a yard after being caught in crossfire from a drive-by shooting. In a separate incident, a 10-year-old died in what investigators describe as an accidental shooting involving a firearm inside a vehicle.
