According to the Des Moines Area Association of Realtors, overall inventory, sales, and pending contracts all trended positive in February. Compared to February 2025, listings rose 12% to 3,855 in February of this year. The overall metric remained stable month-over-month from January to February of this year.
Sales in the Des Moines area followed the same trend, showing a 5.8% increase compared to February of 2025 with 763 closed sales.
