In Milwaukee, fifth grader Noah Nitka discovered a fire in his bedroom. The boy, remembering the safety steps he learned in his fire education class, closed the door in his room and yelled “Fire! Fire!” Nitka then went to his sister’s room (touching the door for heat before opening) to get her out of the house. Everyone survived the fire.
