Wichita City Council passes resolution to call on US House to pass ROTOR Act

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Wichita City Council is sending message to Congress to reconsider an aviation safety effort in the wake of the Flight 5342 crash.

Late Tuesday, the council voted in favor of resolution calling on the U.S. House to pass the ROTOR Act.

It would require all aircraft to have key locator systems to prevent such crashes.
