Evacuations lifted after wildfire on northwest side of Fort Collins

A mandatory evacuation order that was issued for an area on the northwest side of Fort Collins due to a wildfire has been lifted.

The evacuations were ordered just before noon for an area bordered by Highway 287, Vine Drive and Overland Trail. The evacuation order was lifted around 12:50 p.m. Emergency officials said people can return to the area and resume normal activity.
