The remains of Thomas Medlin, of Saint James, were found in the water near Red Hook in Brooklyn on Saturday, March 7, the Suffolk County Police Department said. His identity was confirmed Thursday.
Medlin was last seen on Jan. 9. His family said he left school and traveled into the city, potentially to meet someone he met on the online gaming platform Roblox. However, investigators later said the platform was not associated with Medlin’s disappearance.
Instead, cops said Medlin’s last known location was on the Manhattan Bridge at 7:06 p.m. on Jan. 9. His final cell phone activity occurred at 7:09 p.m., and surveillance cameras captured a splash into the water below the bridge at 7:10 p.m., police said…
