Two victims reported a series of incidents involving Kemal Vukelj, 59, of Teaneck, when they came to police headquarters on Sunday, March 8, Teaneck Deputy Police Chief Seth B. Kriegel said.
One incident allegedly occurred on Oct. 26, 2025, when Vukelj reportedly held the barrel of a handgun against the throat of one of the victims while inside a private residence in Teaneck, Kriegel said. In a separate incident reported to have occurred on March 5, Vukelj threatened to burn down the victims’ home, according to Kriegel.
Following the investigation, Vukelj was charged with terroristic threats (third-degree), aggravated assault (fourth-degree), and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose (second-degree), Kriegel said…
