Kem Krest, LLC filed a WARN notice with the Indiana Department of Workforce Development on March 10. The supply chain services company announced the closure of its facility at 1000 E 116th Street, Carmel, Indiana 46032. This is resulting in job loss for dozens of employees.
Decrease in sales, business priorities, and projected business needs led to the layoff and closure decision. The closure is expected to begin on May 9 and will continue in phases till August 31. The notice listed affected positions and employee counts, noting that no bumping rights are available to them.
