Salvation Army’s Center of Hope Nears Completion, Community Donations Still Needed

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL)–The Salvation Army of Columbus is continuing its mission to support families experiencing homelessness as its new Center of Hope facility moves closer to completion.

Community members who would like to help can donate hygiene products to support those in need. Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday during regular business hours at The Salvation Army’s Warm Springs location. WRBL will also be live on-site next Wednesday to help collect items and raise awareness about the ongoing effort to assist families in the community.

Meanwhile, construction on the new Center of Hope facility is wrapping up as crews complete the final stages of the project. The expanded facility will provide additional space and resources designed to support homeless families and help them transition toward stable housing…
