Robbery charge added for Erie man arrested for December shooting

(WJET/WFXP)– The Erie man accused of shooting someone in the neck in December 2025 had all of his charges bound over to court on Wednesday, with prosecutors adding a felony robbery charge.

Eddie Morrow, 61, of Erie, is facing attempted homicide and aggravated assault charges for allegedly shooting a man in the neck on December 8 in an apartment complex in the 500 block of East 6th.

According to court documents, Morrow appeared in court on Wednesday for his preliminary hearing before Judge Christine Rush, where all charges were held for court.

After the shooting, the victim ran to a nearby gas station at the corner of East 6th and Parade Streets seeking help before being taken to UPMC Hamot for treatment. Police said the victim later identified Morrow and took him into custody by SWAT.

He’s facing charges of attempted homicide, two separate counts of aggravated assault, prohibited possession of a firearm, possession of a weapon, reckless endangerment and robbery with inflicting serious injury…
