Pinecrest Bakery has planted its flag in Lauderhill, opening its first storefront in the city and chalking up the brand’s 25th restaurant across South Florida. The popular Cuban bakery, known for pastelitos, croquetas and strong Cuban coffee, continues to grow its mix of company-owned and franchised locations across Broward and Miami-Dade.
Owner Joel Rodriguez called the Lauderhill debut “a huge milestone for us” and noted that the shop is the chain’s sixth franchised location as Pinecrest keeps expanding north through the region, according to Tamarac Talk.

The new bakery sits at 4613 North University Drive in Sun Village Plaza, bringing Pinecrest’s Cuban comfort food into northwest Broward County. The Lauderhill shop also appears to be up and running on delivery platforms, with Uber Eats listing hours, a menu and delivery availability.
