Four teenagers were arrested on Wednesday afternoon after police say a stolen SUV was found in Lawrenceville.
The Lawrenceville Police Department said an officer located the vehicle, which had been reported stolen out of Atlanta, just after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. Officers blocked the vehicle in near an intersection to prevent a chase.
“Once the vehicle was blocked in, all four occupants attempted to flee on foot,” a statement from the police department said. “Two of the backseat passengers were apprehended immediately. The front seat passenger was located by a police K9 as he attempted to enter Rhodes Jordan Park.”
The driver of the vehicle was also soon found after a short foot chase, according to police. When officers searched the car, they also reportedly found a stolen firearm and narcotics…
