Lancaster County drops penny, rounds cash payments to the nearest nickel for county-specific payments

LANCASTER, Pa. — Lancaster County leaders are making a small change that could affect how you pay your bills each month.

The Lancaster County Board of Commissioners voted to round county cash payments to the nearest five cents, so there will be no more pennies. Residents who pay with a card will not be affected.
