Stanislaus County Task Force Arrests Jamestown Man in Human Trafficking Investigation

STANISLAUS COUNTY, CA — Detectives with the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office Human Exploitation and Trafficking (H.E.A.T.) Task Force have arrested 36-year-old Joshua Talmon of Jamestown following an investigation into suspected commercialized sex trafficking. The investigation began on March 3, 2026, and involved a 30-year-old victim from Modesto. During the course of the inquiry, law enforcement officials identified Talmon as the suspected trafficker.

On March 5, 2026, detectives located Talmon at his residence in Jamestown and took him into custody without incident. At the time of the arrest, authorities report that Talmon was in possession of metal knuckles and a loaded firearm. A records check revealed the firearm had been reported stolen out of Tuolumne County and was unregistered.

Talmon was subsequently transported to the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Detention Center and booked on several felony charges. These include pimping, pandering, possession of a stolen firearm, carrying a loaded unregistered firearm, and possession of metal knuckles.
