Man shot during carjacking on Dickerson Pike, Metro police say

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway following a carjacking-related shooting at a mobile home park along Dickerson Pike that left a man injured Wednesday evening, Nashville officials said.

The shooting was reported just after 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, in the 1500 block of Dickerson Pike.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the 22-year-old victim said he had just gotten into his SUV when two people wearing ski masks and black clothing came up and ordered him to get out of the vehicle. The man tried to start the engine to drive off, but before he could do so, the individuals allegedly opened the door, started shooting, pulled the victim out, and drove off in his SUV…
