BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Baton Rouge Police Department has made an arrest related to a shooting earlier this year at an Eagle Suites hotel.
Police said Daniel Atkins, 36, was identified as a potential suspect in the investigation into the shooting death of Kevin White, 36. According to police, the shooting happened around 7:55 p.m. Jan. 28 in the 11000 block of Boardwalk Drive. Officers reportedly found White dead on a balcony with apparent gunshot wounds.
On Feb. 25, Atkins was apprehended in Concordia Parish by the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office on outstanding warrants. BRPD said he was extradited to Baton Rouge and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison…
