HOUSTON — Federal investigators are now assisting in the search for the driver responsible for a fatal hit-and-run that killed a Fort Bend County deputy in Houston. Authorities say the suspect vehicle struck the deputy as he stopped to help others on the side of the road.
The FBI’s Houston office announced Thursday that it is now assisting the Houston Police Department in the investigation into the death of Deputy Kenneth Lewis.
