LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – A former childcare provider was sentenced on Wednesday for seriously injuring a 4-month-old boy in Lincoln.
According to court documents, Tiffany Frye, 46, was sentenced to at least six years in prison, at most 10 years, for committing intentional child abuse and injury.
Frye was initially taken into custody by police on Sept. 19 after a child abuse report at Bryan East. The child’s mother had dropped the boy off at Frye’s home the day before for childcare. Later that day, when the child’s father picked him up, he reported the baby was screaming, which was unusual…
