LUBBOCK, Texas — Gabriel Pena, 40, was arrested Monday, March 10, on the charge of Assault of a Family Member/Household member after an October 2025 domestic dispute.
An affidavit obtained by EverythingLubbock.com on Wednesday revealed that Lubbock authorities arrived on the scene at a Lubbock hotel and observed an individual throwing items off a balcony.
Authorities located the victim, who stated she tried to leave the room when Pena struck her in the back of the head and several times in the face. During the altercation, the victim was able to shove her hands in Pena’s face, creating enough time for her to exit the room and call 911.
