On the main drag of Tennyson in Denver’s Berkeley neighborhood, FERAL doesn’t look like a typical outdoor store—and that’s exactly the point. Inside, customers might find a well-worn backpack ready for its next adventure, a nearly-new tent waiting for someone’s first camping trip, or a pair of hiking boots with plenty of miles still left in them.
