ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – This year marks the 100th anniversary of Route 66 and Photographer Craig Kilgore spent almost a month on the road to capture it all. He covered the entire stretch of Route 66, from Chicago to Los Angeles and back.

Kilgore will be sharing his experience as part of his photography exhibition “Before 100: Route 66 Now.” Kilgore spent 28 days driving the entire stretch of Route 66. He photographed businesses, roadside landmarks, signage and everyday places that run along the road. Kilgore says something that stood out to him was capturing and experiencing the people along Route 66. The photography exhibition captures how time and rerouting have shaped the towns along the way.
Kilgore will be presenting his exhibition at Marble Brewery in downtown Albuquerque on Saturday, March 14, from 1 – 7 p.m…
