BOISE, Idaho — Spring Break travel is ramping up at Boise Airport, where nearly 165,000 passengers are expected to move through the terminal during the peak travel period from March 12 through March 22, according to airport representatives.
Airport officials said this year’s Spring Break rush could be especially busy because several local school districts and Boise State University are observing the same break schedule. Travelers are being encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time to avoid delays.
Passengers heading through BOI are also being asked to consider supporting Transportation Security Administration officers, who are currently working without pay due to a partial government shutdown tied to Department of Homeland Security funding…
