Famous new neighbor’s early birds draw ire of Las Vegas homeowner

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A homeowner in the southeast Las Vegas valley says two of her new next-door neighbors wake her up in the early morning hours most days since they moved in. Those neighbors – one named Gin and the other named Juice –  perch on the wire near her bedroom window and, she says, scream at the top of their lungs.

“It has woken me up,” Shauna Cordova, who has lived in her home near Palm Eastern Mortuary since she was 12. “Nobody likes to get woke up. Nobody likes to get woke up. So when you get woke up, it puts you in a bad mood. You’re like, what in the heck is going on?”

What’s going on, says Cordova, is that the two wild parrots – Macaws to be exact – wake up early and take flight, constantly airing their loud conversations for the neighborhood to hear. And now two neighbors are at odds…
