Bumbershoot Cuts Ticket Prices, Makes Seattle Fans Pay To Come Back

Bumbershoot is rolling out a fan-focused shake-up for 2026, with lower base ticket tiers, a campus-wide “sip & stroll” for the 21-and-over crowd, and a new paid re-entry option that lets festivalgoers come and go from Seattle Center. The catch is that re-entry will not be free, organizers are selling an add-on for anyone who wants to leave and return during the day. Weekend passes and single-day tickets are already on sale ahead of the lineup announcement, and the festival returns to Seattle Center over Labor Day weekend, Sept. 5–6, 2026.
