SCHENECTADY — City Councilwoman Carmel Patrick has been making steady progress since suffering a stroke in early December, but she isn’t ready to return to the governing body just yet.
For now, Patrick is squarely focused on speech therapy, following a month of physical and occupational therapy at Sunnyview Rehabilitation in Schenectady after the stress-related hemorrhagic stroke on Dec. 2.
