Cainhoy fire burns over 900 acres, residents evacuate, CFD reports

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Several agencies responded to a brush fire that occurred in Cainhoy around 4 p.m. on Wednesday.

South Carolina Forestry and the Charleston Fire Department had the fire contained after over 900 acres were burned at around 5:10 p.m.

25 households along Blind Flight Street in the Point Hope Community were asked to evacuate…
