Tractor-trailer carrying fruits, vegetables catches fire on Pennsylvania Turnpike

There was a major mess on part of the Pennsylvania Turnpike on Friday morning after a tractor-trailer hauling fruits and vegetables caught fire.

According to officials, on Friday, March 13, 2026, just before 5 a.m., crews were called to the entry ramp to the Valley Forge Service Plaza in Chester County after a tractor-trailer caught fire.

SkyForce 10 was over the scene, debris could be seen scattered across the road as firefighters hosed down the vehicle and crews worked to clean up.
