MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) trooper apprehended a man accused of leading them on a high-speed chase that ended in a crash on Wednesday, according to police.
Tayshun L. Thomas, 22, is charged with felony evading, possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony, reckless driving, failure to exercise due care, and driving with no license.
Officers say a trooper was at the intersection of New Horn Lake Road and East Shelby Drive when he noticed a black Nissan Maxima make a left turn without using turn signals.
