ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Chad Campbell, the man convicted in a double murder in 1990, has been released.
The NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision updated Campbell’s custody status as “released.” The latest release date is listed as “03/12/26 PAROLE DIV OF PAROLE.” He had been in custody since January 10, 1996.
News 8 previously reported that Campbell was given an open parole date on or before March 12 after a final review by the NYS Board of Parole. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office later announced that he would be released to Erie County…
