APD searching for 3 young suspects in NE Austin auto theft, credit card fraud

AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police are seeking the public’s help in identifying three young suspects linked to an auto theft and credit card fraud investigation in Northeast Austin last month.

According to the Austin Police Department, officers responded at approximately 10:26 a.m. on Feb. 27 to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 11300 block of Bachman Drive.

The victim told police their vehicle had been parked at the location the night before, but was gone the following morning. Authorities said the victim also left a purse inside the vehicle that contained a wallet, credit cards, and important documents…
