WINTER STORM WARNING: Two winter systems to bring snow, strong winds and major weekend storm

(WFRV) – Our first of two systems for the rest of the week moves in this evening, bringing with it snow showers that could be heavy at times. As a south and southeast wind kicks in, that will attract warm air northward, changing it over to a light mix for locations along and south of HWY 29.

As our wind shifts around to the north and northwest tomorrow morning, the precipitation will turn back over to scattered snow showers Friday morning into the mid-afternoon.

A WINTER STORM WARNING goes into effect at 7 p.m. this evening until 1 p.m. Friday evening for Langlade, Marinette, Menominee (both MI and WI) and northern Oconto counties. This is where 3-6″ of snow is possible…
