IRVING, Texas — The Irving Police Department will increase patrols and enforcement efforts targeting impaired drivers beginning Friday as part of a statewide campaign aimed at reducing alcohol related crashes.
The department will participate in a DWI Enforcement Initiative starting March 13 at 6 p.m. and continuing through March 18 at 4 a.m. The operation supports #EndTheStreakTX, a statewide effort focused on preventing daily traffic deaths on Texas roadways.
