High winds causing power outages across Southern Wisconsin

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Several people are waking up without power across Southern Wisconsin. Both Alliant Energy and Madison Gas and Electric reported power outages on Friday morning.

15 News First Alert Weather Team said the forecast calls for 50 to 60 mph wind gusts, as the region is under a High Wind Warning.

The Alliant Energy outage map showed large outages, with more than 3,800 customers without power across Wisconsin as of 10:30 a.m.
